Mission
- To build climate-resilient development, by enabling the integration of climate change adaptation guidelines and strategies in all sectors at all levels;
- Enhance capacities and awareness of development parties at all levels to ensure to strengthen capacity and awareness of development partners at all levels to implement policies and plans on climate change effectively;
- To develop databases, research, knowledge, and technology to support climate change adaptation.
Goals and Timeframe:
The National Adaptation Plan provides an implementation timeline between 2018 – 2037 which will be in-line with the National Strategy (2018 – 2037), National Economic and Social Development Plan which has an evaluation every 5 years to improve the plan to be comprehensive and suitable for the future. Therefore, the goals of the plan are set into 3 phases (Figure 2-1) as follows:
The National Adaptation Plan has outlined guidelines and measures as adaptation framework including guideline for laying foundation, preparing and supporting related operations. The guidelines and measures are divided into 6 sectors
